The Appomattox County Militia provides training and education services to our members and our communities. Some events are paid events, the proceeds of which go to help fund our community service and emergency services efforts in the Appomattox County 
and surrounding areas. Some events are free and open to the public, with the goal to help the citizens of our community to increase their knowledge and skill set with real world skills that could help save lives.
