What is the Appomattox County Militia?
The Appomattox County Militia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit volunteer organization formed to train and act as a reserve component to the Virginia National Guard,
to provide community support in the form of emergency and disaster relief services, to educate our community, and to assist local law
enforcement and county departments when requested, with search and rescue and community protection services.
